Montessori educator interacting with children during a practical life exercise.

Elizabeth Nash

Student Services Coordinator

Elizabeth began working with children as a teenager, working in a lab school and learning about and following the philosophies that ground the amazing work we do. This inspired her to continue her work with children. She went on to work as a toddler teacher while working on her psychology degree from Oregon State University. After that, she pursued early childhood mental health at Lifeworks NW. Working in mental health, she missed the opportunity to work in education and knew that true wellness for children stemmed from the balance of the two, excellent education and supportive and preventative mental health care.

She was lucky enough to find herself with Endeavor Schools where she supports the three Portland schools find through coaching. She support the schools to provide equitable care for students with varying needs or identified special needs, as well as coach staff on how to support students with behavioral challenges while promoting inclusion in the classroom for all students.

In her time away from work, she love hiking and backpacking the beautiful pacific northwest, traveling, drinking coffee, and spending time with her partner and their rescue hound dog, Otis.
